About me

Andrea de la Mora Ruiz

Registered Dietitian · HAES Educator

I'm Andi: dietitian, creator of Andi Fit, and a firm believer that taking care of your health shouldn't cost you your peace of mind.

A year ago I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. Even though I was eating well and training according to WHO recommendations, the advice I received — eliminate entire food groups — clashed with everything I had been studying about sustainable nutrition.

I decided to dig deep. I discovered that real change is built on simple, sustainable, compassionate habits — not extreme restriction. Today I live with my diagnosis from a much kinder place, and my lab values back it up.

My passion for sharing this information led me to publish, alongside a colleague, an article on the nutritional management of PCOS. And from there, Andi Fit was born: a space to show that enjoying food, movement and the present can coexist with caring for your full health.

Movement

Moving your body is part of self-care.

I live it and teach it: exercise isn't punishment or obligation — it's a way of respecting yourself and enjoying what your body can do.

About me

My philosophy

I work under the HAES (Health at Every Size®) framework and Intuitive Eating. I believe every body deserves information without guilt, without moralizing food and without weighing yourself to feel okay.

  • Intuitive eating

Learning to listen to your hunger and fullness cues, without rigid rules.

  • Health without extreme diets

    Sustainable, evidence-based change — not three-week trends.

  • Every body is valid

Weight does not define your health. Body diversity is part of life.
